About Llandaff

Built on the banks of the river Taff, Llandaff is the home of the famous Llandaff Cathedral, which was built in the 14th/15th century.

The childrens author, Roald Dahl was a pupil at the Cathedral School from 1923 to 1925.

Howells school (named after Thomas Howell, a 16th century merchant) has had some notable pupils, most recently Charlotte Church.

Llandaff became a suburb of Cardiff in 1922.
