About Lakeside and Cyncoed
Where Cyncoed extends down to the Lake, it becomes Lakeside.Roath Park and Lake were built in 1894. The lighthouse was dedicated in 1915 to Scott of the Antartic. Scott set sail on the Terra Nova in 1910. The Discovery pub pays tribute to Scott.
