About Canton
The name Canton is taken from Saint Canna, the holy matron of the Celtic age of Saints. Apparently a relative and contempory of King Arthur.Canton, aslo known as Treganna, was a 13th century manor in Llandaff.
It became part of Cardiff in 1875.
John Toshack, the Liverpool and Wales footballer attended Radnor Road and Canton High Schools.
