About Adamsdown
Adamsdown is mostly built on Marshland.Steel and Iron works dominated this area 100 hundred or so years ago, and pubs such as the Vulcan and the Splotlands were built for the workers of these industries.
The UWIC Art Department is located where the Howard Gardens school was built.
