This is a real old fashioned pub. Literally a spit and sawdust pub, with many original features, such as a a large ships wheel, and is often photographed. It stands forlorn amongst modern buildings just before the bridge that marks the end of Adamsdown and the start of the town centre.A perpertual entry in the Camra pub guide.
A real step back in time.
Good news - it should be around until at least 2007.
