History

Built in the 14th century, necessarily one of the oldest pubs in Cardiff.

There is supposed to be an underground passageway to St Edeyrns Church opposite. And Presumably, Llandeyrn Village takes its name from the Church.

Inside

Perched atop a hill, this is an old pub with great character. It is one of a few buldings in the original Llandeyrn Village, but treated as a part of Old St Mellons for this web site.

The bar retains 2 facing old stone surround fires. The dining room is more modern in appearance, serving a great range of food, with specials, senior citizen and child menus, along with a wine menu.

Please visit the Old St Mellons web site for information about the locale of the Unicorn.
