This is a fabulous country pub, with a huge car park, and equally large garden with children's play area. It commands a great view across Cardiff.

Inside, you will find a traditional old fashioned look and feel, the pub comprising of a set of cosy seating areas, from the pool room along to the raised dining area. Internal beams indicate a significant age.

As a pub and a restaurant it caters well for families, who often travel far to visit. The choice of food is large, from a set menu, specials, snacks, and even a complete curry menu. Was in the Guardian's 2004 top 'Gastropub' list. Has a large function room for hire in a separate building.
