History

Probably later Victorian, this grade 2 listed building had a structural refurbishment in around 1996, making it open plan. It is not clear when the pub was extended to consume the 2 properties adjacent to the original pub building.

Was the Flyhalf and Firkin before becoming the Queens Vaults in 2002.

There is absolutely no proof that the pub is haunted.

Inside

Positioned a stones throw from the Millennium Stadium, this cavernous pub attracts a complete cross-section of customers, from students to families to the elderly. It has a lot of faithful regulars.

Unusually for the Centre, it has 3 pool tables - in red, blue and purple, situated underneath a high beamed, pitched ceiling, like a barn.

Decorated in white and peach, this is a friendly, welcoming pub, that obviously gets extremely busy on match days.
