Built in late Victorian times, was initially a Hancocks pub until Bass took over.The Chip shop next door was acquired some decades ago and converted into a bar extension.
The lounge had a snug at one time.

Has won Cardiff in bloom from 1998 to 2004, and is always worth a visit in high Summer.With a cosmopolitan range of customers, this pub is popular with visitors as much as locals.
Many are drawn by Julie Wilkins's home made pies, for which she has appeared in the Echo no less than 4 times.
Such is the character of this village pub, it even has its own Plough Choir who sing for Alzheimer charities.
Has a patio garden at front and rear. Sports guest ales.
