Inside
This is a very lively, popular pub, tucked away behind Inncognito, but well worth finding. It attracts a mix of customers, including legal professionals and students by day and students by night and weekends.
Families are also attracted by a good range of food, including Sunday Roasts, and the large patioed rear garden, with its pool table.
There is a friendly atmosphere to this pub, probably instigated by the welcoming bar staff and management.
The decor is very much traditional, with extensive oak panelling throughout.
Access can be gained in Park Grove and from Park Lane at the rear.
Very unusually, this pub supplies board games such as Risk for a refundable £5 deposit.
