Probably Victorian, originally the Grange Hotel.

Apparently haunted in the cellar by Sid Trickett, a landlord of some 50 years ago.

Inside

This is friendly, welcoming pub, with a mix of local regulars and passers by. It is also a proactive pub, with their own football team, the Grange Celts, and a trophy cabinet evidence of successes. Nine card Don is played here.

It is a traditional looking pub with a nice sized lawn garden at the rear. There is a free public car park at the back, accessible by havelock Place.
