Inside

A busy, spacious pub with great character. The Robert Scott room has 3 walls of awesome Antarctic photographs, with 1 large and 1 gigantic ceiling Tiffany lights that are truly impressive. A double aspect fire creates a warm glow.

Bar and lounge have long wall sofa type seating, and mahogany and brass fittings add character.

Daily food specials and an extensive range of wines add a further dimension.

It has a large captive audience, but is geared at families and regulars, with the occasional student. It is female friendly, and has excellent support for disabled customers, including access to the skittle alley.

The huge function room is on two levels and has a capacity for 240.
