Inside

This is a busy, popular pub, located on the crossroads at the top of Newport Road, hence the name. Often a stopping place for town shoppers, it is a friendly pub.

Split on two levels, a partitioned lounge (with lots of original arches) and a higher long bar area, it sells a good range of tasty food. Children are allowed in if dining.

A charity minded communial pub by day, and a bar by night. Has a large car park at the back.
