History
Originally a couple of private houses, was the Apollo Hotel until 2001.William Julian Cayo-Evans was a famous Welsh man who ran the 'Free Wales Army'. This name was chosen as the pub restarted as a very Welsh speaking locale.
Won the CAMRA pub of the year award in 2001/2.

Inside
The Cayo is a friendly and welcoming, clean and tidy traditional pub, with a respectful but easy going atmosphere. The long bar, substantially wooden, serves a good range of real ales including guest ales, and a good range of food, with specials and Sunday roasts.The rear garden occasionally sports a marquee for TV sporting events.
The rear parking is accessed by a small lane to the side.
A small conference room is available for hire.
It has 5 B&B en-suite bedrooms.
