History

Built in 1997 as a Bass steak house. Converted into a Toby Inn in 1999.

Inside

A hybrid pub and restaurant, but still enough of a pub to warrant inclusion. Very large partitioned bar/lounge seating area, bedecked with wall artifacts such as postcards to give character. A double aspect fire gives warmth and a focal point.

Necessarily popular with families, often attracted by the Carvery food counter, and large garden area with play area. But also appeals to the business community at Cardiff Gate. A warm, welcoming pub.
